Peake Ranch Pinot Noir
John Sebastiano Vineyard
The first release of the Peake Ranch John Sebastiano Vineyard Pinot Noir represents an extraordinary achievement in Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir. The steep, windy vineyard location produces tiny clusters and tiny grapes, yielding extraordinarily concentrated wines. There’s a substantial amount of weight and complexity to this wine. Dark fruit and spice on the palate combines with a long, structured finish to truly create a magnificent Pinot Noir.
This limited production wine is offered by allocation only.

96 Points – 2014 Peake Ranch John Sebastiano Vineyard Pinot Noir – “Another stunning effort from winemaker Paul Lato, the 2014 Pinot Noir John Sebastiano Vineyard (raised in 60% new oak) offers another level of purity and focus over the straight Sta. Rita Hills release. Chambolle-Musigny like with its elegant, ultra-pure and nuanced bouquet of framboise, flowers and spice, this beauty has no hard edges, perfect balance and a seamless, silky texture that keeps you coming back to the glass. It’s beautiful already, yet should keep for 7-8 years, possibly longer.” - Jeb Dunnuck, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
